Professional Dressing

Somebody made a comment that some of us dress like school girls during the trip. But harlow? we asked if you all want a specific dress code, you guys were saying casual. So what you expect girls in their 20s dress like? dress in ah-ma clothes as casual? Our definition are of course in our t-shirts & berms. We didnt appear in flip flops or shorts...Who's to blame for us to look youthful? Is it an offence to look young?

Juz a short trip, you can link all the way to office wear, not wearing professionally. Can somebody define professional dressing pls? Does wearing shirt/blouse with skirt/pants constitute UNprofessional dressing? C'mon...I am an executive, but I am wearing like a management staff and you dare to comment that as a whole (with the other gers) is UNprofessional dressing?! What do you expect me to wear? Wear lower for the top & wear shorter for the bottom? Or... everyday i wear jacket suit? Is Singapore...not Europe or America that the weather permit me to wear a few more layers to complete the suit set. For my minimal pay, you want me to wear Hugo Boss or Raoul so that I'll look professional? You do not pay me enough to feed myself and save and you are expecting me to wear MORE professionally (so have lots of debts, starve myself and I still have to look professional?)... Speak for youself, you don't dress professionally everyday...why do you expect the junior staff to wear professionally? We can't possibly overdress what you wear & make you look like you are the junior staff instead, do you?

Yes i agree, we must have a professional image. That's why i am very particular with what i wear. Shirt & pants/skirt is what i define as professional attire. Even if i wear a no-collar top, i make sure i'll wear my jacket. For shoes, i make sure my shoes are covered shoes. And I am very pissed if you make comments to imply that I do not dress professionally. Please go & look yourself in the mirror before you comment on others.

Anyway, readers out there, maybe you can tell me how you define as professional dressing and for those who always see me in my work clothes, pls let me know if what i usually wear constitute to UNprofessional dressing? Totally puzzled...there is actually another definition for professional dressing that i am unaware of?
