an interesting dinner on friday...

Was a busy friday at work, but no activities after work. Suddenly, I received a surprise message to ask if i was free to meet up for a simple dinner and maybe for some after dinner activities. Didnt expect for a sudden invitation to meet up. Of course, i was free & so we planned to meet up at Marina Square after work at 7pm. As usual, i was late even though my workplace was nearer to Marina Square.

Met up and couldnt decide what to eat but i had this long ago craving for LJS. So we went to LJS & picked a quiet spot to have a simple but nice dinner together. Catched up with each other on our recent happenings though we have always been chatting on msn. After our dinner, we decided to do some window shopping around MS. Walked around & soon we decided to stop for coffee & we ended up at Mac Cafe. Arghh..what a nice choice huh..

After coffee we decided to call it for a day and we took a slow walk down MS to cross the road to The Esplanade bus stop. Suddenly, we changed our mind & decided to check out The Esplanade...ahahha.. stopped by this pub to listen to the live band for awhile. After which we walked along The Esplanade area where you'll see groups of people enjoying the breeze & the nice view of the Fullerton area. Didnt know if The Esplanade roof terrace was still accessible at that hour...but we decided to give it a try & we went up..the view of the Fullerton area was virtually unblocked from the roof! It was a pity that we didnt have a camera with us, or we will sure love to get the photo of the night scenery of the Fullerton area.

Went to Harry's Bar for a drink...and listened to the live singing there. At about 12 plus, i decided to call it for a day cos I had to work the next day...and took a cab home...

It was a great evening, spending time with a friend whom we always chat online but seldom get a chance to meet up. Shared some recent happenings about each other & in the midst of everything, even get to know a new friend- AT. Maybe we should meet up more often, right Simpleton? For those who doest know who's simpleton..well.....what can i say? too bad lor...
