Is been like 3 weeks i didnt go for a ktv session and didnt expect to go for one today. The initial plan was to just have a nice dinner and probably a movie. Ended work at 5pm sharp and waited for KF till 6.30pm. It was such a torture to me having to act busy for that extra 1 1/2 hours. Anyway, finally 6.30pm arrived and KF and I scooted off to Marina Square in the heavy rain. Nothing can deter us for having dinner together! We were brave souls who braved the rain in order to have our once in a blue moon meal together!
Went Waraku for our japanese dinner since KF has never really tried Waraku before. Yes just back from Japan and I m not tired of jap food. Sucker for jap food...cant stand myself either! While we were having our dinner, we started planning for after dinner activities. Movies were out cos we missed the time slots. So we were left with ktv and since kbox was having ladies night, it means cheaper rates for us. We decided to go karaoke!
Two of us went to sing and decided to sing most of the chinese duets that we know from the early 90s to the recent songs. Of course we take turn to sing the guy part. We also had our fun by laughing at the old music videos, how corny they were. AND I sang the song that AO always like to sing "It's all coming back to me now" with lots of giggles between KF and I due to the suggestive lyrics. We concluded that songs like "记得爱" and "有你真好" are so gay and les. Oh and i attempted this old song "你把我灌醉" which i have been singing at home. While singing, KF was laughing non stop at the video cos she thinks is super unrelated to the song and rather lame.
Sang till 11.15pm and we took cab home. haha...everytime i go out with her and others, i'll end up taking cab home.
p/s: just heard some news that somebody just tendered.....congratulations! haha... i wonder when will it be my turn?
